This exhibition examines the motive behind each artist's art-making process.

Each artist will display a statement about their relationship with art.

Participating artists are the members of Japanese Artists Association of New York, Inc. (JAANY) and their artist friends.

The Japanese Artists Association of New York, Inc. (JAANY) is an organization that was founded in 1972 as a non-profit organization and maintains a membership of approximately fifty artists. JAANY was established with the mission to organize exhibitions of members’ works, and to assist in the improvement of cultural relations and the quality of artistic information exchange between artists of the United States and those of Japan.
